Fearsome Flash comes attached to a card board backer and it takes seconds to unpack it then it's ready to play with right away. At a $15 price tag, can't argue with it being too expensive or buying one or two extra. These reissues look like they were made from the exact same Kenner mold and faithfully match the original versions of the toys.

For the Fearsome Flush, all you have to do is simply roll it along a flat surface and the lids will pop up and reveal the eyes and mouth of the entity then revert back to a seemingly normal looking toilet. The only real differences are the retro figure has smaller teeth than the original, the tires have treads, and there is a plastic piece between the tires that shields the interior workings of the toy. Interestingly enough, the front of the card board baker nearly matches the original except it now lacks the "Who Ya Gonna Call?" motto and the item code number is missing. Naturally, the back is vastly different as the release wave back in the 1980s is not the same as the current release wave. The retro figure's back has instructions and photos of how to play with the Fearsome Flush and advertises the Bug-Eye Ghost and Ecto-1 retro releases. And to be environmentally friendly, there are the recycling stamps near the proof of purchase.

Even though... you know, Fearsome Flush turns a mundane thing in your house and makes it scary, it's still a classic and fan-favorite from Kenner's classic The Real Ghostbusters line. Truly a delight to have it back in my collection.
